Just some ramblings....

These are just a few things that I have noticed in the last month or so. Some of them, I've noticed for longer...

• Old guys walking around the locker room naked! Dude nobody wants to see that--put a towel on!
• Mother Nature can be super sweet or very harsh, so world-don't piss her off!
• If you are elected to a public office, don't like what is going to be voted on, you don't have to show up.
• If those that controlled public funds treated them like their personal funds, our Country might have a different outlook.
• We can talk about stimulus, unemployment, buyout, etc, but if we (US) can't get a hold of these rising fuel prices our economy will never climb out of the toilet!!
• When you turn 33, it's a great year, but lookout for the back hair-pluck one, three will grow!
• President George Washington had something, when he told the US to stay out of other countries issues during his farewell address.
• I can donate .10 each day to a child in Africa, but the homeless shelter on Main Street is overcrowded.
• The space shuttle Discovery is one bad mo-fo!!! 39 missions!!
  
• In politics, just as in life, there will be those who will feel they have gained, and those who feel they are on the losing end. I guess that's why long ago dudes that are on our money had the foresight to create a vote!!
  
• Three things my dad doesn't like to talk about--politics and religion. The other is insurance.
• When training, the stuff that is really good for us sometimes hurts the most, and therefore we don't do it as often as we should.
• The Godfather is still one of the best movies ever made....well the first two.
• The toothbrush I get from the dentist is like the superhero side kick. It still does a good job at fighting grime, but not nearly as bad ass as the electric.
• I could make a quilt out of the non-matching socks that I own.
• While you may have 400 friends on Facebook, only about 10 of them are really your friends. The others you are stalking.
